Our solid, heavily galvanized posts stand a hefty 6 inches in height at the "I", and 4 inches in the width at the flange, and offer a solid one quarter inch of solidly galvanized flange thickness. These posts are classified as a W6x9 (Nine pounds per foot) and come in these sizes of 5 and a half feet up to 18 feet in length. The Solid Galvanization on the standard 6" I-beam post means that this product is known for its superior longevity.

RE-Sectioned Guardrail Post material:

The many applications are growing for the solid, galvanized re-sectioned steel posts used in livestock fencing. The term "Re-Sectioned" simply means that these posts have had short section of 6" I-beam welded to another section of I-Beam in order to increase their length. These re-sectioned posts have been used in several livestock fencing applications and continue to meet and/or exceed the demands of the livestock industry.
